Ryan and Mary Hokuf
Ryan and Mary Hokuf met at Cedarville University while studying mechanical engineering. They were married in 2010 and began working as engineers in western NY state. It was here that Ryan learned to fly, and God began calling them into full-time service supporting missions using aviation. They served with Missionary Maintenance Services from 2016-2022 where Ryan obtained his A&P/IA mechanic certificates and finished the remainder of his flight ratings with Missionary Air Group.
While serving with MMS, and after several trips to Alaska supporting missions there, they sensed God leading them to serve full-time in Alaska. God opened the door for Ryan to serve as a volunteer flight instructor with Kingdom Air Corps during the summer of 2022. Ryan and Mary joined KAC full-time in 2023, where Ryan currently serves as Chief Flight Instructor. When not flight instructing, Ryan enjoys lending a hand with aircraft maintenance and working in a support role for the Brooks Range Bible Camp.
Mary stays busy on the home front, supporting Ryan and homeschooling their three children: Brooke, Andrew, and Samuel. She also enjoys helping with various needs as they arise at KAC, which includes serving alongside Ryan, with their children, at Brooks Range Bible Camp.
